~ Betsy Walker was selected in Christianity Today's "Ten Independent Artists You Should Know" in April 2004.

~ Betsy has played on the campuses of Anderson University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Butler University, Ball State University, and University of Indianapolis.

I am not content to merely describe the realities of this present age; I sing and write in order to advocate and initiate change to the glory of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Armed with a keyboard, guitar, and thought provoking lyrics, Betsy Walker brings a message of freedom and hope packaged in imagery that sheds new light on unchanging truth.

Betsy’s passion for life overflows to her music, which speaks of everything from soul searching, to the drama of dating, to spiritual warfare.

Betsy does not consider herself an entertainer; in fact, she might be more accurately defined as an ambassador. This young woman has much to say and her pop/folk sound and soulful melodies will leave you with more than a catchy tune; they may just change your life. Anything less would be disappointing.

“Our world doesn’t need one more entertainer. What the world needs is the transforming power of truth, and that is the business I want to be about.”

The Lord has gifted Betsy with craftsmanship that is both honest and refreshing, but listen at your own risk…

It may change you forever.

REVIEWS
"
Stylistically similar to Jewel and Jill Paquette, I absolutely love Walker's voice, which is as alluring and pristine as Ginny Owens and Kendall Payne. Walker's songwriting is also nearly the same caliber as all those artists...The title track [to the Simple Offerings EP] is beautiful and prayerful, "Comparison Game" is soul-baring in determining our purpose in life, and "Dear Afterthought" is marvelously insightful in how we don't make God enough of a priority in life.  Best remember her name now, because I think you're going to hear more of it in time."
